She has been sewing for a long time, but just started back a few years ago when she found that it occupies her mind and can be used as a form of pain management. Also makes her know she still can have quality of life no matter what her body decides to do.
Diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer and then having a brain tumor come from that, she has always been a fighter and someone that find the good in most situations.
This is her way of fighting, living and making a little money for the life saving drugs that are not covered. Even those that are covered have quite a big effect on her budget.
She took things into her own hands, and instead of feeling sorry for herself, or asking for help (there is none) she is now going to try to make a little money with things she has always done as gifts, or for friends for free.
